7 year old Connemara gelding, from Ireland. Very green with few miles on the clock but has fantastic movement and a lot of scope. Has a lot of potential but needs a calm, quiet and experienced rider. He will make a good project to produce through be grades, with time and training he should easily make it to BE novice. However he is sharp. 14.2 to 15 hh Connemara on Irish Passport, Rising 6

Sad sale due to health and family commitments. Very friendly and inquisitive character with fabulous paces, shape and willing to learn to jump (I have not jumped for 30 years so only tried small so far in pictures but have seen him jump higher with other riders). Quick learner. I find he enjoys riding out hacking around countryside combined with riding in a menage. Great to look after in the stable. I think he would best suit a pony club / riding club home or hunter or regular hack but not a novice ride as 5 rising 6 so still has a lot to learn and has done little groundwork. I currently estimate him to be about 148cm /14.2hh, I am told he will make about 15hh so could suit a keen teenager or adult / teen share. I hack him out mainly on his own and sometimes in company. He does still look at things he has not experienced before, but so far I can always ride him by them. Hacked out across country on farm tracks so used to open spaces, and field tracks. Good with other horses. Good to shoe. Loves being brushed. Excellent stable manners. Always comes up to you when its time to come in from his field. Ollie is a cheeky class one registered Connemara gelding aged 10 yrs who I bought recently as a novice ride. Although he is very easy to handle and quiet to ride in the field, I bought him as a safe happy hack, but he's actually quite babyish to hack especially when on his own or asked to lead. He will stop and take a little persuasion to go forward again. Can also be a bit spooky. If following he's mainly very good though. As I bought him to be a confidence given for my other ponies who don't like to lead, he is not suitable for this home so would like him to find a new home before he becomes too settled here. I think he would be better in a home that does more schooling than hacking, as he is very quiet to school, never strong or spooky just safe and borderline lazy, or at least will work with his nervousness out hacking, with a confident rider or a lead horse he won't be a problem at all. This is the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make in my life but I know its the right decision for us both. Here is my stunningly beautiful 15.1 Connemara gelding. I have so many wonderful things to say about this lad. He is the sweetest horse who loves attention and a pamper, and would stand for hours to be groomed and fussed. He hacks out both alone and with company, going first or last. He is snaffle mouthed at ALL times. He has three lovely paces and loves to jump. I’m not 100% sure but think he has hunted out in Ireland previously. He is good to shoe, load and catch and has never reared or bolted. He is known to buck occasionally when excited, but this is nothing major or nasty. He isn’t silly or spooky and is good with traffic but can be abit cautious with tractors. Although he isn't nasty, he is not a novice ride. He is very forward going and can occasionally become strong. However, all he wants to do is please, and do his best of what's asked. He has been turned out with mares and geldings and has never had a problem. He currently stays out in the summer and comes in to be stabled during winter. Would suit an eventer or Hunter and he is never sick or sorry. Great around dogs and children. If not sold he will continue to be ridden and will be hunted during the upcoming season. Harry is a lovely 15hh Gelding. I have own this boy for the last 2 years and he has taught me so much over the time I have had him, as I starting as a novice with no experience at all.Harry excel in dressage as previous owners competed with him and always place in the top 3. However i have had no interest in dressage so he is a little out of practise but after a couple of rides it is like he has never stopped dressage. He is a true gent when out on a hack with others, Never puts a foot wrong. However when on his own he does need a push so would say he needs some one confident on him to give him confidence to carry on,however after 10 mins he is great. His True love is in the School as he loves to be worked. Over the years he has given some many family members and friends from the age of 7 - 18 the confidence to learn to walk trot and canter.
