An absolutely stunning pony. Loads of character. Bought for my son who unfortunately has absolutely no interest. Great in traffic and out hacking My son isn’t interested so I have been riding him but he is too slow for my liking. Bailey is a very honest and affectionate Welsh pony that I rescued 5 years ago. In that time he has become a very confident pony who enjoys being handled and ridden. He is good to lunge, handle, load, with farrier, with vet etc. He has predominately been used as a lead rein but has been introduced to work off the rein which he was quickly getting the hang of. Bailey is a very confident and affectionate pony who is unfazed in traffic. He is good with the vet and farrier. He has never been difficult to load or handle. Previously when in work Bailey was handled by my three year old nephew. He has been used to lead both my daughter and nephew on the lead rein, however he has only been ridden several times on the lead rein with a child riding themselves. He has been introduced twice to work off the lead rein. He has very low mileage and will need bringing on. Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone.
