I brought Deno just over a year ago but due to a fall I have lost my confidence. I don't think it's fair for him to be doing nothing. He loves to be in work loves running and jumping and would go far with the right rider. Would do great at XC he has hunted with previous owner. He is good in traffic but can be spooky over the horse eating drains,puddles etc he is good in open fields but can get a bit excited. I have done fun rides with him He can be a typical tb so would be better with someone who knows tbs he's not in work but dose get lunged. He's forward going NOT a NOVICE ride He can pull faces and look grumpy but is not nasty in any way He has suffered with tight shoulder muscles due to him not using him self properly. He did have typical tb feet but this has been sorted in the year that I have had him Would love him to go to a 5* home this is a really hard decision but I'm not experienced enough and my lack of confidence forces sale Passported good with the farrier dentist vet all up to date £ Tack available Read More

Red is a 5 year old tb up for sale through no fault of his own, he is just simply wasted with us due to other commitments ?? 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. Suitable hacking/hunting. Been cubhunted this autumn and been on hunt rides. XC schooled through water and ditches etc. Excellent in traffic and hacks alone or in company very happily. Ex national hunt horse, only ran 5 times as he didn't enjoy it. For the past couple of years Nero has been used as a happy hacker, he is hoof perfect to hack with company but not sure what he would be like to hack alone. Can be a little spooky but nothing dangerous and is easy to pull up in a group. Nero can be a very grumpy boy at times and requires a competent handler on the ground and is not suitable for a novice. Approx yr old Bay TB mare. Super sweet girl, always tries her best and has never put a foot wrong in the 6 years we've owned her. Has mainly been a happy hacker over the years but has also done a little basic schooling. Proving to be willing and a quick learner - just sadly a huge lack of time on our part to be consistent with her - it's there, just rusty at present. Was doing leg yield, travers, renvers, turn on the forehand and rein back - responsive to half halts, weight and seat aids. Showing promise over small fences, will happily pop in trot or canter, keeping a nice rhythm and without getting silly. Pops logs out hacking too. Snaffle mouthed at all times. A very straightforward mare. Great for vet/dentist/osteo/farrier/worm etc. Hasn't travelled an awful lot with us, but we've been in both trailers and lorries alone/with others without any issues. Will make someone a super little Allrounder or PC/RC prospect with a tiny bit of work. Currently living out and in her winter woolies, with a low neck and belly clip.
