Vintage Mid Century - Writing Desk Drawers - DIY Project

Charming old piece of furniture in need of a lot of love. As you can tell from the pictures it's a mid century writing desk, missing one of the main drawers. (I've kept this part stacked with magazines). It's got some other cute features - like two little miniature drawers, just below the top, and these are lined with dark red velvet inside. Otherwise - a real DIY object. The desk is sold as seen - it's got loads of marks and wear so please make sure you are aware of it's condition. Bureau Writing Desk / Computer Desk / Storage Desk in

A refurbished / up-cycled writing bureau / computer desk. Painted with a Zinsser undercoat & two coats of white chalk paint, giving it a textured look. Sealed with two layers of Briwax which protects and gives it a nice sheen. The outside has been painted with chalk paint but the insides have been left as they were, giving a nice contrast. there is the odd imperfection but its got character and would look attractive in any home. There is a small black stain on the inside but its not too noticeable (see photo). H cm) L m) W cm) There is a lock but no key. You can view if you live near by.
