She has been out to local shows doing show jumping, working hunter, ridden and in hand. Great manners on the show ground and always works hard for you. 13hh Welsh C pony club Mare

Sweetie is a 15 yr old 13hh registered Welsh Section C dun mare. Unfortunately my son has outgrown Sweetie and so it is time for her to find another mum or dad to look after. She has been with us for the last 2 1/2 yrs going to pony club, showing, showjumping, hunter trials, tetrathlon and dressage. She is more of a second pony but saying that she is very loving and has taught my son loads, she is up to date with teeth, back, vacs and worming. Sweetie is good to catch (especially for my 11 yr old), clip (apart from her face!) and shoe (barefoot). She is happy jumping up to 75cm nearly always coming home with a rosette, does not bat an eyelid at mounted games equipment, my son can even wave the flag over her face and she just stands there! XC she is happier sticking to cm and below and always gets above 60% on her dressage scores! Unfortunately we had issues loading her recently but with a Monty Roberts headcollar on she is fine. She does have mild sweetitch which is controlled using her rugs which will come with her. Sweetie is brilliant for my 11 yr old son to lead and he tacks her up by himself. DYCOTT LADY BOUNCER approx 12.2 Previously advertised but due to teething problems with Nathan's new pony we withdrew. Nathan is getting on with new pony now so Nathan is now ready for Bouncer to find a new friend. Bouncer is worth her weight in gold! She has looked after my nephew and taught him to ride and not once put a hoof out of place! For those of you that know Nathan, she puts up with alot bless her! Lol She has done numerous in hand classes winning the majority of them including the championship. Has done a handful of WPCS shows, choosing what i know to be on the quieter side, this is only because I didn't want my nephew amongst a huge class of barren mares as his awareness of his surroundings is limited! Lol Bouncer jumps a small course of jumps and has a bigger jump in her than Nathan is ready for so could do workers with a more confident jockey. Nathan has ridden, including having a pop over practice jump at shows but we haven't managed to convince him to do a ridden class. Bouncer has bred a foal in the past so going back to being a broodmare would be an option but I feel she should give another child the confidence she has given Nathan. She is very good to do in all ways, Nathan does everything other than trimming her feet and I haven't let him lose with the clippers around her, dodgy doorsteps would be the result! But she is good as gold to be trimmed, bathed, load, catch etc.. she is also chief babysitter for the youngsters. Read More

13.2hh Welsh Section C Mare

Reluctant sale of our wonderful 13.2hh registered welsh section C chestnut mare, 13 years old. Where do I start with this amazing pony?! She has done it all from pony club, showing, XC (which she loves), showjumping, hunting, fun rides...she was my daughters first pony and has done her job beautifully. Absolutely bombproof in the heaviest of traffic. Hacks out very happily alone and in company, never naps or spooks (she will stand happily next to a running combine harvester!). Isn't fussed by any farm animals including cows, loose dogs, chickens and sheep. Attended pony club camp this year with Heythrop Hunt and was a star. Has won every mountain and moorland class entered and is very flashy, always in the rosettes. She loves cross country and has flown around courses this year usually clear and loving every minute! She definitely has more to give in this sphere. Great to shoe, box, clip, in the stable and with the vet. Never needs sedation for anything. Has never bitten or kicked. She is however a very typical welsh and loves her food so we keep her restricted grazing in the summer. Never had laminitis. Happily lives in or out and with mares, geldings or alone. This is a very sad sale of a much loved pony, so she won't be going anywhere until we find the perfect home. While she was my daughters first pony and has been perfect for her, she can be strong sometimes but certainly not uncontrollable or nasty so I would recommend her as a second pony for a confident child, teen or small adult. I would like her to go to a home where she will be a family member and loved as much as we love her. Everyone who knows her loves her, she has many fans! Any vetting welcome.
