Welmar upright piano

For sale here is a used Welmar upright piano. As a clasical pianist and piano teacher, I have used this piano as a second instrument for teaching, duets and practise for the past year and it has served me very well indeed. The piano is overstrung and features a very fine tone which would suit any student from beginner through to grade 8 standard of playing, and indeed too any amateur player. The instrument has been well looked after, cleaned and tuned regularly. It has few scratches and marks as it was used when I bought it myself. I will be happy to demonstrate the piano at my home and offer advice on removal experts. I can also supply a piano stool.

This is our Baby Grand Piano - it is 1.5m wide across the keyboard, 1.4m deep from front to back and just under 1.0m high. It is finished in a mahogany veneer - I think its called Fiddle-back mahogany. It has a beautiful tone and plays nicely. It has some faults in the veneer finish with some sun damage on one side and where someone placed a candle on the fold-under piece of the top - you can't see this normally. It would benefit from a french polisher of you want to fix these problems. We had it moved to our house for £50 but that was some years ago and I guess it would be double that today. Welmar overstrung Piano in excellent condition in Gloucester

A richly toned Rosewood mahogany upright piano that benefits from a recent part overhaul costing several hundred pounds including new Tapes, Balance Leathers, spiral springs and re-faced hammers. It has a modern under-damped mechanism and has been tuned once or twice a year over the last 25 years. Some minor marks on the case don't detract from the quality of this piano. It is 56ins high, 47ins long and 25 ins deep.
