Vintage 12" Jensen AlNiCo speaker ('s) 8ohm

I have for sale a magnificent and vintage Jensen Concert Speaker P12R (DP-AlNiCo 5) for guitar. This speaker was my dad's when he was a teenager. It is a Jensen P12R from the early 60's. The speaker was serviced by Weber VST in the USA around when I was living there. The cone is new and the magnets have been serviced and revitalised, so the speaker is working like new! It is a 8 ohm speaker with about 15 Watts of power and a very sweet sound, with plenty of mids and beautiful highs that cut through the mix like butter. I will include a vintage Howell&Bell enclosure that has been adapted to it, so you can plug a guitar amp head in it, or use it as an extension speaker. Ad ID: Delivery Service Consumer Credit

Fender Original 12" Eminence Speaker - Alnico, 32 ohm, - Mark 1 Fender Rhodes Suitcase Piano

Here’s one you don’t see every day - an original, Fender 32ohm, alnico speaker. Yep, 32ohm! If you have a Mark 1 Fender Rhodes piano this would be an invaluable original backup speaker or replace a knackered existing one. Rim code FE = Eminence, 46th week (Nov) (The Mark 2 Fender Rhodes Suitcase Piano was introduced in and used standard 8ohm speakers.) Given its odd impedance, I haven’t been able to hear it in action. It does, however, have a healthy (26.3 ohm) impedance and the cone, although slightly ‘bubbled’ as shown, is in clean condition. Indeed, it has an unusual and attractive caramel coloured, paper cone that I’ve only ever seen on one other vintage Fender speaker. This is presumed to be original. I have replaced the Ceramic bar magnets from my Humbucker pickups to Alnico 4 in Neck and Alnico 2 in Bridge pickup. I found the ceramic magnets gave to bright and harsh response. The pickups were Wilkinson from a chinese Gib 335 copy.Actually made at the factory that produces Epiphone guitars under licence. Warmer vintage tones.
