She was backed as a 2 year old but never raced with previous owner and has spent the last 4 years sat in a field. I bought her in June as a project to bring on over the summer and have spent the last few months long reining, lunging and has just spent two weeks at a professional yard hacking out. Unfortunately I feel that she will be too much for me and my current lifestyle and needs a lot more work than I was led to believe. She does have good bloodlines so would also make a good broodmare (Sire: Notnowcato, Dam: La Chesneraie). She has been good with the farrier, loads/travels and has been hacking and seen traffic whilst she was on professional livery. Vaccinations are up to date and her back was done a month ago. Due to her needing to be kept in work I am selling her from the field and will need bringing back into work. Good home is most important. £

Just Magical weatherbys passported TB mare, project in

16.2 bay TB mare, good doer lives happily out all year. She is off the field as was turned away for the winter. She is a nice chunky eye catching mare with no lumps bumps or scars. She is older at 19 but still has many years left in her as she has been looked after all her life. She raced for about five years and was placed and has been a broodmare. Unlike some ex racers she works well under saddle understands leg yeilding and hacks alone or in company gets a little excited in the open but has brakes. I think she will make a nice show prospect or dressage. There is however a down side, Magic is not for a novice, she is a project and can be dominant and has a nice line in face pulling. She is unshod at the moment and unfit. She is bombproof with dogs traffic etc but will need you to give her confidence with the dreaded plastic bags etc. She is not great to shoe but loads well and really prefers to be out all year. This mare has a lot of potential as a project or ridded companion and deserves more than me. In all honesty we are not a great match hence why she is for sale and priced as she is. I need something more family friendly and Magic deserves a lot more attention and work than she is getting. She turns out well with others but can be bossy when food is around. As I said she is dominant but intelligent and a quick learner. No novices. Comes with rugs teeth done and back done.

Ginge! Stunning year old TB mare! in Newport

Ginge for sale! A beautiful 7 year old 16.2hh thoroughbred mare. Passported and microchipped, eligible for ROR. Completely clean limbed and vice free apart from weaving at feeding times. Retired from racing sound and enjoyed some time off over winter. Recently brought back into work proving sane and sensible. Ginge is good to catch, tie up, pick up feet and for farrier, loads and travels in a lorry or trailer, good to brush all over. 8 Year old CHAPS Registered project mare FOR SALE in

The lovely Chloe is offered for sale as a project to an experienced 5* home only. 8 year old approx 14hands CHAPS registered mare. Chloe came to us in May where it became apparent that she was a pacer. She was also previously a welfare case and had been locked in her stable for 12 months with her foal. She was rescued approx a year ago. Due to this she can understandably be a bit weary of new people however she settled in relatively quickly despite this. She is good to catch, happily lives in or out, good for the farrier, and generally a lovely little mare. She can be a bit spooky at times when leading to and from field. She has undergone a lot of ground work and is now working under saddle nicely. Occasionally if she becomes unbalanced she will revert to pacing for a few strides however this is getting less and less each session. She lunges nicely off of voice commands. She needs to go to someone who knows what they are doing and will be able to continue to work with her. She can take 5-10 minutes to settle in the school but works nicely after this. She has a lovely soft mouth and responds nicely to the seat. She has just started doing some canter work undersaddle but is still quite unbalanced although 100% willing to please and give it a go. She has seen some small cross poles but jumping does not seem to be her forte. She has hacked in company where she was forward but spooky at times. Chloe really needs a experienced home who are willing to put the time and effort in with her and not rush her. This home also needs to be quiet and loving not somewhere that will use brute force to get results. She would suit a natural horsemanship home, with someone who will understand her needs. She is a lovely little project for someone and have no doubts that she will make a lovely riding pony for someone. Has not bucked, reared or bolted while with us. Snaffle mouthed.
