I have decided to offer my mare for sale. She has been loaned for the last 18 months but the loaner cannot keep her on. I do not have the time for her as I have a poorly horse that currently needs a lot of rehabilitation work. She is an honest mare with a very kind nature. She has previously been used in a riding school but personally I would not class her as a novice ride as she prefers a quiet sensitive rider. She has hacked in the past, but for the last 18 months has just been riding in the sand school. Her schooling is coming along nicely but canter transitions require more work. She will try her heart out for you. Currently barefoot but when I was hacking her she was shod. She does windsuck and this is reflected in the price. Fancy Nancy!! 16.2hh 11 year old thoroughbred mare. Unraced, clean limbs no lumps or bumps, vice and injury free. School mistress, genuine all rounder! Works in a perfect outline throughout 3 balanced paces and very straight moving. Has done a bit of everything, competed unaffiliated dressage show jumping and has been xc training. 10 year old TB 16'2 TB Gelding

10 year old 16'2 TB Gelding. We have owned Felix for just over a year and have come to the conclusion that he needs a home that has more time for him. He has come a long way since we brought him but needs more work and we just don't have the time. He schools beautifully the way he carries himself is delightful he has three lovely paces and has a lovely fluid movement, I could imagine him doing a very nice dressage test. We have never taken him out competing and apart from popping him over a little jump in our school he hasn't done any jumping since we have owned him so can't really comment on his jumping ability. We are definitely what you would call a happy hacking home so haven’t taken him to shows. He is best when ridden frequently although last weekend we rode for the first time in 3 months and hacked on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday he was excited and it took longer than usual to tack him up and as soon as my husbands bottom was in the saddle he was jogging up the road! He jogged around and was generally very excitable so we only did road work. On the Sunday he was like a totally different horse, stood quietly to be tacked up, easy to mount and was cool as a cucumber so we went out for a good 2 hours and had 3 canters and a gallop. It was very pleasant hack. My husband and I mainly hack together which Felix does prefer but he has hacked alone and if he did it more I am sure he would settle much more quickly. We hack down fairly busy roads and he is fine, he does very occasionally do excited little bucks, not in nasty 'I am going to throw you off way' just I am excited and I want to go. Where he needs the most work still is on the ground he has a nervous disposition and will need a patient owner who has time to gain his trust. He isn’t at all nasty and does have stable manners he just gets nervous. We clipped him this weekend and we do it in stages so it takes 2 days rather than a few hours. He will stand to be groomed for 20 minutes and then gets fidgety, he takes longer than you average horse to tack up, nothing at all nasty he just has trust issues. He loads fine in either a box or trailer but doesn't like travelling alone, we tend to load him last and then out first to try and keep his mood as calm as possible. He can't be left in a field by himself or left on the yard by himself. He is good for the farrier and has never been lame or had any health problems. Up to date with jabs. Ray is fully vaccinated passport.recently had back checked and had teeth done in November. Iv had ray since August . I brought him to go out and compete but his only fault is loading iv spent hours practicing to the point he goes on on his own.i took him over cannock chase and he was a star i came to put him on a week later back to square one he is not intrested he travels great it just getting on. I have been told he loads better on a trailer but I'm not in a position to just buy a trailer or a towing vehicle.If I didn't have the other 2 I would keep him and get another one to compete. He hacks alone or in company I do find him better on his own or with a sensible horse or horses. As a girls pony bolted home and he just jogged.he's Great in open fields. 16hh 6 year old TB Gelding Horse for Sale(ROR Unraced)

Lovely project TB for sale, based in Arley/Cheshire. *Experienced Home wanted* 16hh, 6 years old, Bay, Gelding, registered with Weatherby's as 'McCool Runnings' otherwise known as 'Mac' at home. Sire: Cockney Rebel Dam: Dances with Angels. Fully up to date with Vacs, dentist, physio etc (nothing noted) and passed 2 stage vetting in Feb when I bought him which you are welcome to view. Loads and travels fine (once he finds his feet), and perfect with the farrier, he can be a little sensitive with his ears but not nasty, and I haven't clipped him but he was fully clipped when I bought him so assume no issues. He is fine to bath, goes in the hot wash/solarium and groom etc. Sadly for sale as I do not have enough time to do this boy justice and continue is education, he is not suitable for novices due to his age, breed and background. He trained to race but was too slow so never raced but is registered ROR, I bought Mac in Feb as a project to bring on whilst my other competition horse is out of action, unfortunately due to a change in work commitments I am no longer able to dedicate the time to him and I am struggling during the week. He is a lovely boy, but he needs stimulation and consistent repetitive work and therefore not suitable for just anyone - he can be spooky and can get upset in busy/loud environments but has already come on leaps and bounds with me as an amateur, with consistent works and lots of it he will excel massively. I have taken him to camp/clinics and out training around somerford/kelsall and he has behaved impeccably, drops/ditches/water all fine etc. Was professionally schooled for 7 weeks over summer with Andrew Downes, and works in a lovely soft outline but but is still a baby and it is not perfect but he is ridden in a Nathe rubber snaffle for everything and is not strong in the slightest and therefore requires someone willing to put more work into him - this is reflected in his price and I am of course open to sensible offers and happy to discuss him in full, as I cannot stress enough that I want the best for this boy - therefore home very much more important then price. We have decided to put our 16hh mare Honey for sale due to her and my daughter not clicking. Honey has a lovely temperament and is easy to do in all ways on the ground, she is handled by a 13 year old who has no problems with her. She can easily jump 90cm at home, and has free lunged up to 1m30cm. My daughter has taken her to some unaffiliated show jumping between 70 and 90cm where she has proven to be bold over bright fillers. She has also done some unaffiliated arena eventing, been taken to cross country and dressage schooled. She is a forward going talented jumper, being especially brave and bold when it comes to cross country. She is nicely schooled on the flat, will work in an outline with ease and has produced some very nice tests when out competing BE. Although she is forward going, she is snaffle mouthed in all phases and not silly or strong. 16hh Welsh x Arab 6 year old mare

I’m reluctantly advertising my beautiful mare. She’s an approximately 16hh 6 year old Welsh cob x Arab chestnut mare with 4 white socks. Luna is the sweetest mare and is very easy to handle in and out of the stable. She takes her reassurance from her handler. She is nervous when taking rugs off so I have found by folding them forwards and reassuring her whilst you do this she’s fine. She’s getting better every time you do it. I have not clipped her yet, she is again fairly nervous but I have run the clippers over her whilst they were running and again she just needs reassurance. Luna will happily load into a trailer but she does get worried and can rush off although she does nothing nasty. When she came to me she travelled in a 3.5ton lorry and was fine. With time I’m sure she’d happily travel in a trailer. To ride she is a blank canvas. She’s green with her schooling and jumping. She will go in a lovely outline but needs someone that understands a sensitive and young horse. She is green with jumping but certainly has some scope and really enjoys it. I have taught her how to lunge and she will now happily lunge. She hacks out in company, she will have a look at things occasionally but with encouragement will happily walk on. She has started hacking on her own. I have walked her out alone in-hand and she has been fantastic. I am selling her as I feel she needs more than what I can give her.
