For sale Weatherbys registered 15.2hh 6 year old TB mare Khaleesi is a very sweet natured mare. She was backed as a 2 year old but never raced with previous owner and has spent the last 4 years sat in a field. I bought her in June as a project to bring on over the summer and have spent the last few months long reining, lunging and has just spent two weeks at a professional yard hacking out. Unfortunately I feel that she will be too much for me and my current lifestyle and needs a lot more work than I was led to believe. She does have good bloodlines so would also make a good broodmare (Sire: Notnowcato, Dam: La Chesneraie). She has been good with the farrier, loads/travels and has been hacking and seen traffic whilst she was on professional livery. Vaccinations are up to date and her back was done a month ago. Due to her needing to be kept in work I am selling her from the field and will need bringing back into work. Good home is most important. £

Ginge! Stunning year old TB mare! in Newport

Ginge for sale! A beautiful 7 year old 16.2hh thoroughbred mare. Passported and microchipped, eligible for ROR. Completely clean limbed and vice free apart from weaving at feeding times. Retired from racing sound and enjoyed some time off over winter. Recently brought back into work proving sane and sensible. Ginge is good to catch, tie up, pick up feet and for farrier, loads and travels in a lorry or trailer, good to brush all over. Ginge has only been hacking since coming back into work but in doing so she hacks alone and in company and has seen everything on the road and remained unphased, from cyclists up too giant arctic logging lorries and tractors with muck trailers, she'd hack on the motorway with a level head! Great on the lunge also and loose jumps 1 metre with ease! Ginge has been ridden in open spaces and popped some small jumps still remaining sensible and eager to please! I have decided to offer my mare for sale. She has been loaned for the last 18 months but the loaner cannot keep her on. I do not have the time for her as I have a poorly horse that currently needs a lot of rehabilitation work. She is an honest mare with a very kind nature. She has previously been used in a riding school but personally I would not class her as a novice ride as she prefers a quiet sensitive rider. 8 Year old CHAPS Registered project mare FOR SALE in

The lovely Chloe is offered for sale as a project to an experienced 5* home only. 8 year old approx 14hands CHAPS registered mare. Chloe came to us in May where it became apparent that she was a pacer. She was also previously a welfare case and had been locked in her stable for 12 months with her foal. She was rescued approx a year ago. Due to this she can understandably be a bit weary of new people however she settled in relatively quickly despite this. She is good to catch, happily lives in or out, good for the farrier, and generally a lovely little mare. She can be a bit spooky at times when leading to and from field. She has undergone a lot of ground work and is now working under saddle nicely. Occasionally if she becomes unbalanced she will revert to pacing for a few strides however this is getting less and less each session. She lunges nicely off of voice commands. She needs to go to someone who knows what they are doing and will be able to continue to work with her. She can take 5-10 minutes to settle in the school but works nicely after this. She has a lovely soft mouth and responds nicely to the seat. She has just started doing some canter work undersaddle but is still quite unbalanced although 100% willing to please and give it a go. She has seen some small cross poles but jumping does not seem to be her forte. She has hacked in company where she was forward but spooky at times. Chloe really needs a experienced home who are willing to put the time and effort in with her and not rush her. This home also needs to be quiet and loving not somewhere that will use brute force to get results. She would suit a natural horsemanship home, with someone who will understand her needs. She is a lovely little project for someone and have no doubts that she will make a lovely riding pony for someone. Has not bucked, reared or bolted while with us. Snaffle mouthed.
