Horse to ride 1 day a week

Hi maybe I'm looking for the impossible but I'm a 41 year old lady and I suffer with a serious back condition I've been told I should never ride again but I miss it so much I used to ride in my younger days but now I'm very very nervous and am looking to try and have a go at riding again we already own a Fell x Cob but he's nowhere near steady enough for me to try and ride as he can be a handful I would struggle to do any jobs as I can't lift anything heavy hence why maybe I'm looking for the impossible as stable duties would be out of the question and as sometimes I can't get out of the house for days or weeks at a time and there would be no guarantee that my back would withstand me actually riding a horse again after I've tried it once I want to be as honest as possible as I wouldn't like to mess any one around I could give a small contribution the horse would have to be rock steady and a complete plod and doesn't have to go above a walk and just be happy to have the odd plod out and about if my back can stand it but until I try I will never know and the stables we are on doesn't have any suitable horses for me to try to see if I could withstand it I'm 5 ft 1 and 9 and a half stone if anyone thinks they have something suitable I'd love to hear from you x Read More

WANTED - EXPERIENCED RIDER ONE DAY A WEEK

I'm looking for a rider with previous experience to come down and school my 16.3 ID X TB gelding once a week. Unfortunately I am unable to ride due to a recent operation on my back. He is hacking out 2-3 times a week but I'm egar to also keep his schooling going whilst I am unable to ride. Ideally I'm looking for someone that perhaps needs more experience in schooling/ student at an equine college that wants to gain more knowledge. My proposal would be for me to give the right person a schooling lesson on Flash once a week, I wouldn't charge for the lesson or the use of my horse but would require a contribution towards hiring the ménage. I am looking for someone that can ride the basic walk, trot and canter (previous experience of jumping desirable but not essential) I need someone that knows all of the basics if not more for riding a horse and some previous experience of schooling would be helpful.
