Wanted, horse/pony to ride once maybe twice a week.

I am looking for a horse or pony to ride once or twice a week, willing to pay a contribution. Although I'm hoping to find a confidence builder as mine took a knock a few years back, I have been wanting to get back into riding but haven't had the chance up until now. I am a 5' 3", 8 & half stone 28 year old female. I live in Camborne so am looking for something as local as possible as I do not drive at the moment. Horse to ride 1 day a week

Hi maybe I'm looking for the impossible but I'm a 41 year old lady and I suffer with a serious back condition I've been told I should never ride again but I miss it so much I used to ride in my younger days but now I'm very very nervous and am looking to try and have a go at riding again we already own a Fell x Cob but he's nowhere near steady enough for me to try and ride as he can be a handful I would struggle to do any jobs as I can't lift anything heavy hence why maybe I'm looking for the impossible as stable duties would be out of the question and as sometimes I can't get out of the house for days or weeks at a time and there would be no guarantee that my back would withstand me actually riding a horse again after I've tried it once I want to be as honest as possible as I wouldn't like to mess any one around I could give a small contribution the horse would have to be rock steady and a complete plod and doesn't have to go above a walk and just be happy to have the odd plod out and about if my back can stand it but until I try I will never know and the stables we are on doesn't have any suitable horses for me to try to see if I could withstand it I'm 5 ft 1 and 9 and a half stone if anyone thinks they have something suitable I'd love to hear from you x Read More

Hi, I'm an 18 year old girl who is just finishing her A-levels, unfortunately I'm not really able to ride at the moment as much as I'd like which is no-one elses nor mines fault (hopefully that makes sense!). I'm about 5ft7/5ft8 and 8& 1/2 stone so a reasonably light weight rider. I have worked with off the track racehorses, youngsters, mares and foals, nervous and 'quirky' horses. Buckers and rearers don't phase me as long as I still feel 'safe' I'm happy to get on anything. I have schooled youngsters, children ponies, attended pony club camp and been part of the breaking in process and riding on youngsters. I'm looking for 1 or more horses to work with over summer from happy hacking to schooling and competing as I am looking at going to university in September. I am a cohesive hardworking individual and can provide various veterinary and equine references as required.
