Vox AC30 Top Boost Hand wired with Silver Celestion Alnico Speakers

Vintage Dallas era Vox AC30 Top Boost Hand wired with Silver Celestion Alnico Speakers. Essentially a JMI era spec with a solid state rectifier. Only around 150 were made to this specification then the supply of the Silver Alnico drivers ran out. Recently serviced with new filter caps and matched JJ power valves fitted. Two pots were also replaced and I had the 3 way toggle for the vibe trem replaced with a pot to give more control over speed. Excellent condition and sounds glorious. Vox AC30 Handwired Head and 2x12 Cab (Celestion Blue Alnico Speakers)

This is the AC30 HWH and the ACHWX The current handwird Vox AC30 is meant to as close as to the original early 60’s circuit design and sound as anything they’ve produced of recent decades. It’s pure tone and is a beautiful setup all round. The handwired circuitry is a turret board design with point to point connections. It’s a thing of beauty. No sign of any PCBs here as you can see from the photos. I’ve used this with a 1x12 Celestion Greenback cab too and both sound amazing (especially together..). I’m selling reluctantly, but want something a little smaller and hoping I don’t regret it!:) I’ve had this since new from . New the head alone is £ and blue alnico 2x12 cab £799. Comes with original Vox dust covers, speaker cable and manuals. I’ve just spent £100 fully re-tubing it this week. So it’s sounding as pure and clear and chimey as ever. No silly offers please!!   Vox AC120 Vintage Hand Wired Valve Amp

Hand built in the UK in as a home grown rival to the ubiquitous Fender Twin.   100 Watts RMS with Ohm Celestion Vintage watt speakers. These are the only non original parts and a huge improvement in terms of tone. Has to be heard to be believed.  Original Foot Pedal.  The Amp has been regularly serviced and well looked after.  It has 4 inputs which combine Hot and Bright. There is a master volume and independent input channel volumes.  It also has bass, mid & treble controls plus a 5 band eq system. As such you can create a huge range of sounds and tones that all sound amazing.  There are built in Distortion and Reverb functions. The reverb is beautiful sounding.  I am only selling as expanding family mean it is just too big and I never get a chance to play it any more so it needs to go to a loving home/rehersal studio.  Cash on Collection please due to size & weight but happy to discuss options.

Vox AC30 valve amp for sale. Has been used for gigging in a Beatles tribute band but has since had a full service with full valve replacement (essentially making it brand new on the inside). Amp comes with Silverstone padded protective cover. Amp is in good condition. There are some superficial scratches on the bottom of the amp which are only visible if you lift it up. Performance wise, the amp is like brand new due to recent full service and valve replacement. Amp comes with Vox switch pedal to control reverb and tremelo. Additionally I will include the Morley switcher pedal (not originally included in the amp) which enables you to switch between channels or blend them. Reluctantly selling due to needing space and as doesn't get used anymore due to no longer playing in the band. Further details available on request.
