This is the AC30 HWH and the ACHWX The current handwird Vox AC30 is meant to as close as to the original early 60’s circuit design and sound as anything they’ve produced of recent decades. It’s pure tone and is a beautiful setup all round. The handwired circuitry is a turret board design with point to point connections. It’s a thing of beauty. No sign of any PCBs here as you can see from the photos. I’ve used this with a 1x12 Celestion Greenback cab too and both sound amazing (especially together..). I’m selling reluctantly, but want something a little smaller and hoping I don’t regret it!:) I’ve had this since new from . New the head alone is £ and blue alnico 2x12 cab £799. Vox ac30 amplifier - Vintage -

This is a vox ac30 top boost, dated . Tremendous sounding amp with G12M Celestion speakers and recent full service. I prefer the G12M speakers to the Alnico blue’s, but I’m also selling a single Alnico blue speaker, if you would like mix the speakers in the amp. Since I bought it, and it’s service, it has never been gigged. Just some studio use. The only thing modified on this amp is - I’ve changed the reverb pot into a master volume pot so the amp can distort without the face melting volume. I find that a much more desirable option than the reverb on this amp which isn’t very desirable in an ac30, but can easily be changed back to it’s original state. The only flaws are, the tremolo channel doesn’t sound too great, and a bit of ware and tare that is to be expected from an amp this age. I've recently sold my Redplate Blackverb and I am now selling the extra 2 X12 Combo Cabinet that Henry made. This is a top quality cabinet just like everything else Henry builds. It will accommodate any of Redplate's smaller chassis amps (see dimensions below). This is the way to take your small box Redplate combo which is already a killer amp up a few notches to really open up the tone. The cabinet is 27" wide X 20" tall X 10.5 " deep. The mounting holes are " across (center to center) by 6" front to back and the faceplate opening is " X 2 3/8".  Cabinet is in excellent like new condition

Refurbished Vintage 70's Vox Sound Ltd. (Dallas) AC30 Top Boost Vib Trem Guitar Amp.

A refurbished late 's Vox Sound AC30, interior shots showing the green phenolic PCB's used only for a couple of years from . Its highly likely that the cabinet is a little later, seeming to be one of the so called 'Limited Edition' Fawn cabs that Vox produced seemingly for much of the early '80's, with three brass vents, mottled cream tolex and three leather handles. When this came in the upper rear panel was a flimsy bit of fibreboard, so this has been replaced with a pine panel, recovered in matching tolex. Interior rear panel bearers have also been replced. The amp itself has been serviced with new smoothing caps, new power valves and bases and the pots and jacks cleaned, the amp has also been P.A.T. Tested. Everything works as it should, and having owned a number of these over the years, once warmed up properly, this is one of the quietest. Speakers aren't a match: one looks like a period McKenzie, the other possibly a Celestion, but I can't be sure. I'm pretty sure that they're both 'period-ish' as they both have shiny aluminium dust caps, which were prevalent during the 70's and 80's. Everything works as it should, including the Vib Trem-circtuit, via the original hard wired footswitch, and it's loud and chimey. Cosmetically, there's some knicks in the tolex around the lower edge, a pull in the grille cloth and wear to the leather handles, but nothing indicating abuse, just reasonable wear and tear for an amp pushing forty years old.   Vox AC120 Vintage Hand Wired Valve Amp

Hand built in the UK in as a home grown rival to the ubiquitous Fender Twin.   100 Watts RMS with Ohm Celestion Vintage watt speakers. These are the only non original parts and a huge improvement in terms of tone. Has to be heard to be believed.  Original Foot Pedal.  The Amp has been regularly serviced and well looked after.  It has 4 inputs which combine Hot and Bright. There is a master volume and independent input channel volumes.  It also has bass, mid & treble controls plus a 5 band eq system. As such you can create a huge range of sounds and tones that all sound amazing.  There are built in Distortion and Reverb functions. The reverb is beautiful sounding.  I am only selling as expanding family mean it is just too big and I never get a chance to play it any more so it needs to go to a loving home/rehersal studio.  Cash on Collection please due to size & weight but happy to discuss options.
