Nice s Raleigh ladies touring bike. Lovely mixte frame geometry. Strong and elegant. Michelin World Tour tyres. Weinmann brakes. 5 speed. TDC freewheel. Mudguards, chainguard and rear carrier. Chromed steel rims. This is a nice touring commuting bike, excellent compromise between speed and comfort. On one hand it has big wheels (same size as racing bikes of the era) and drop handlebars, so it can be pretty fast. On the other hand cycling position is relatively upright, being quite comfortable to ride (for a road bike) and comes with many accessories to make your life on the road easier. Mudguards are a must in London, rear carrier allows you to transport your stuff with you and the chainguard protects your clothes from the chain. Tyres are quite wide too so not a harsh ride. Comes serviced with new cables, new chain, tyres pumped up, etc. Ready to go, just cycle away. Please note that whilst in good condition for age, it is a 30 years old bike. It is tatty in places and has some wear and tear related to age. Tyres a bit old, a rip in saddle, etc, but as said above everything works. All reflected in the price (which is NOT negotiable). Lovely SunSolo vintage touring bike from the 80s. Sturdy, classic lugged steel frame, in a very nice light blue colour. 8 speed. Weinmann brakes. 27" wheels. 20" size, will fit people from around 5 4" to to 1.75 m). It comes with many accessories: mudguards for those rainy days, rear pannier rack to carry your stuff, chainguard to keep your trousers clean and safe from the chain and dual brake levers for extra safety (with those you can brake from the top or the bottom part of the handlebars). It has been serviced, with new cables fitted, new handlebar tape, etc. Chain recently replaced. It works nicely and it is ready to go, just cycle away. As normal in a vintage bike it is not perfect and there are some cosmetic blemishes and other wear and tear related to age. Overall, a lovely touring/commuter bike looking for a new owner. Obviously it is not as fast or light as a modern aluminium bike, but if what you want is affordable, simple, relaxed and reliable commuting, this is hard to beat. Cosmetically it has seen clearly better days, as normal in a bike this old, but still looking charming. There is a bit of rust in some places and it is a bit tatty, but nothing structural or to worry about. Just a nice patina. Looking at the bright side, it is very very unlikely to get attention of thieves, so probably you don't have to worry about it being stolen. It is single speed: maximun simplicity, minimum problems. Nice and inexpensive Raleigh vintage city bike. Fully working.

Raleigh Palm Beach, lovely bike, prime example of British roadster from the 70s. This bike has seen better days obviously but still in very good shape. It is smooth, faster than it looks and comfortable. Those bikes are really solid and it is single speed, so there is little to go wrong with it. It has been serviced for the sale with a new chain, new brake cables, and headset + bottom bracket overhauled. Just the service is worth more than the asking price! Cosmetically it is still looking nice but obviously there are marks, rust spots, etc as normal in a bike this vintage. Nothing major or structural, it just won't win any beauty contest. Lovely Triumph vintage bike, from . Absolutely charming bicycle, 58 years old but still working nicely. Certainly those bikes were made to last. It has 3 speed, which is enough for most parts of London. Comes with mudguards for those rainy days, chainguard to keep your trousers safe and clean from the chain, side stand to park anywhere, front basket to carry your stuff and a nice sounding bell. It is a great bike for the city. Saddle is very comfy and cycling position relaxed. Mechanically is in good shape, everything works. Tyres in decent condition. Brakes are a bit slow as normal in a bike this old but just enough for the intended use of a bike of this kind (relaxed riding). Wear and tear related to age. Marks in frame and a few rust spots.
