Specialized crossroads 51cm Trail / commuting / touring bike. Welcome to my advert for my Specialized bike. I have used It for Trail / commuting / touring but have now bought another bike so it is surplus to requirements. This Specialized 'Crossroads' Bicycle is in very good condition (having being kept indoors when not in use). A comfortable hybrid style bicycle which design is that between mountain bicycle and road bike. A great combination offering a high range of gears for smooth effortless cycling on steep hills such as Park Street here in Bristol, and the comfort for every day use in the city. Shimano 24 gears: wheel cogs x 8, pedal cogs x 3. Twist grip gear change for rear, thumb switch for pedal gear change. All work smoothly. Frame: 18 inches (Medium) Quick release shock absorber gel saddle. As in the pictures you can see it is fitted with fully fitting mud guards, bell, flick stand, side hand grips with internal flick out rearview mirrors. There is also a high powered LED quick fit front light (rechargeable powerpack with charger included - band new in box). Vintage Raleigh ladies touring / commuting bike. Fully working.

Nice s Raleigh ladies touring bike. Lovely mixte frame geometry. Strong and elegant. Michelin World Tour tyres. Weinmann brakes. 5 speed. TDC freewheel. Mudguards, chainguard and rear carrier. Chromed steel rims. This is a nice touring commuting bike, excellent compromise between speed and comfort. On one hand it has big wheels (same size as racing bikes of the era) and drop handlebars, so it can be pretty fast. On the other hand cycling position is relatively upright, being quite comfortable to ride (for a road bike) and comes with many accessories to make your life on the road easier. Mudguards are a must in London, rear carrier allows you to transport your stuff with you and the chainguard protects your clothes from the chain. Tyres are quite wide too so not a harsh ride. Comes serviced with new cables, new chain, tyres pumped up, etc. Ready to go, just cycle away. Please note that whilst in good condition for age, it is a 30 years old bike. It is tatty in places and has some wear and tear related to age. Tyres a bit old, a rip in saddle, etc, but as said above everything works. All reflected in the price (which is NOT negotiable). I'm selling my seldom-used road bike. It has a 51cm frame; I'm 5ft 3 ins but at a guess it would suit someone up to a couple of inches taller than me. I'll be removing the pedals before it's sold. Although I've had it for 2 years, it's been rarely ridden and has been stored indoors for the whole time I've had it. The saddle has been replaced with one from my winter bike and has never been used. I'm selling it because I've been using my other bike since I bought it over a year ago and it's just sitting there looking lovely but not getting used.
