This is a stunning Rosewood Balloon Clock with a beautiful elaborate Satin Wood Inlay decoration, enamel dial, gorgeously designed feet and is from around c. It has an 8-day striking movement on a bronze bell, the Pendulum is on a lovely silk suspension and the movement is signed H Y Marc Paris No. . The clock is approximately 23cm tall and 16.5cm wide at the widest point at the base. There’s a small line in the enamel on the face but otherwise in lovely condition considering it’s nearly 200 years old. On the back of the rear door on the inside there’s a label detailing some information about the clock placed there by a previous owner. The clock is on lovely working order, includes the original key, is in original condition and is a really stunning rare to find clock.
