THIS 8-DAY CLOCK STRIKES ON THE HALF AND HOUR VIA A GENTLE BUT DISTICTIVE SOUND. IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION ALL AROUND WITH NO DAMAGE OR RESTORATION. ANTIQUE FRENCH VERNI BRONZE MINIATURE CARRIAGE CLOCK WORKING

This is a wonderful working French miniature carriage clock with Verni Bronze inscribed to the base with the original movement present in the case. The case is in a lovely clean condition, as is the face of the clock. The clock winds up easily with the winder and the movement / time can be set using the centre turner but is a little fiddly, as you would expect with a miniature. There’s a tiny piece of glass missing from one corner but otherwise in great condition for the age of the clock. This is a stunning Rosewood Balloon Clock with a beautiful elaborate Satin Wood Inlay decoration, enamel dial, gorgeously designed feet and is from around c. It has an 8-day striking movement on a bronze bell, the Pendulum is on a lovely silk suspension and the movement is signed H Y Marc Paris No. . The clock is approximately 23cm tall and 16.5cm wide at the widest point at the base. There’s a small line in the enamel on the face but otherwise in lovely condition considering it’s nearly 200 years old. On the back of the rear door on the inside there’s a label detailing some information about the clock placed there by a previous owner. The clock is on lovely working order, includes the original key, is in original condition and is a really stunning rare to find clock.
