Lined in places with suede (pls see photos). One central twist-clip coin section. Inside bears a crocodile logo in gold, which I'm sure means something, but I don't know what! Overall excellent condition with no real signs of use or wear. If you look at photo 4, you'll see a small dint in the leather - this is entirely my fault and has been caused by the corner of a box pushing against it while the two things were stored next to each other in another box. I've only just spotted it, and am frankly annoyed at myself. I've reduced the price accordingly, but it may be that the dint can be rectified simply by pushing it out from behind, like you would panel-beat a car! Maybe it would disappear with use, I don't know. It's on the back of the purse, not the front, so it isn't immediately visible when you're using this lovely purse, anyway. Still a very beautiful purse even with this tiny leather-dent, but I always like to be brutally honest in my descriptions. No-one likes to feel like they've had the wool pulled over their eyes, so I try to be as accurate as possible. Gorgeous deep rich tan brown colour. This handsome box measures 15cms x 10½cms x 4cms. It is lined with beige velvet and the lid is fitted with narrow holders for stickpins or hatpins (there is a little wear on these –please see the enlarged photograph 4). There is a matching velvet pad for separating the contents and the retailer’s name is tooled in gold on the interior rim. The left hand front corner is scuffed –visible on the enlarged photograph 2. VINTAGE CROCODILE ATTACHÉ CASE/OVERNIGHT CASE

This beautiful iconic case was made around , possibly in the Birmingham area. Dimensions 48cm/19insx35cm/13.5ins/6.5ins. It is fully lined with beige moire silk and the pockets are opened and closed by press studs and tiny crocodile straps. All original. Sturdy brass lever locks still work perfectly and there is a small key to lock the case. Four brass pad style feet are situated in the corners of the back and underneath of the case so that it doesn't touch the ground when put down completely protecting the crocodile skin. The initials B.L.D. have been added to the front of the case but are now quite faint.
