Vintage Crocodile Skin Purse, Large, Excellent Cond.

Vintage crocodile skin ladies' purse, approx 10" long. Lined in places with suede (pls see photos). One central twist-clip coin section. Inside bears a crocodile logo in gold, which I'm sure means something, but I don't know what! Overall excellent condition with no real signs of use or wear. If you look at photo 4, you'll see a small dint in the leather - this is entirely my fault and has been caused by the corner of a box pushing against it while the two things were stored next to each other in another box. I've only just spotted it, and am frankly annoyed at myself. I've reduced the price accordingly, but it may be that the dint can be rectified simply by pushing it out from behind, like you would panel-beat a car! Maybe it would disappear with use, I don't know. It's on the back of the purse, not the front, so it isn't immediately visible when you're using this lovely purse, anyway. Still a very beautiful purse even with this tiny leather-dent, but I always like to be brutally honest in my descriptions. No-one likes to feel like they've had the wool pulled over their eyes, so I try to be as accurate as possible. Gorgeous deep rich tan brown colour. Would make a great present for someone who likes lovely leather goods, vintage items, or collects purses, etc. Personal inspection and collection welcome, you're welcome to come and have a look if you'd like to. We're about 10 mins from the northbound j15 off the A1, midway between Peterborough and Huntingdon on the B in NE Cambridgeshire. This handsome box measures 15cms x 10½cms x 4cms. It is lined with beige velvet and the lid is fitted with narrow holders for stickpins or hatpins (there is a little wear on these –please see the enlarged photograph 4). There is a matching velvet pad for separating the contents and the retailer’s name is tooled in gold on the interior rim. The left hand front corner is scuffed –visible on the enlarged photograph 2. Blue lizard skin with suede inside lining. This bag is in excellent condition. There is some wear to one corner and a scratch to the base of the bag. The strap is intact, the zip on the interior pocket still works and so does the clasp. There are a couple of very light age spots marks on the lining. Medium sized bag, measures approx. 27cm x 18cm, x 6cm, strap measures approx. 40cm. There is one compartment with one zipped pocket lined in blue fabric and two open pockets that side and one other open pocket on the other side. The fittings are gold tone, with a secure push clasp The bag is fully lined in pale suede. Inside the bag has two large open pockets (one divided into two sections) and a larger zipped pocket.
