F H Ayers Rocking Horse - recently subject to sympathetic restoration

Open to sensible offers. A splendid example of a small F H Ayres rocking horse; it is 34 inches tall at the top of the ear. It has recently been the subject of a superb restoration by Kensington Rocking Horses. The restoration has ensured that it has kept it's original paintwork and patina. The horse has glass eyes. It is believed that the horse is very early 20th century. It was originally sold by Gamages Department Store in Holborn, London - the stand still has the original stencil from the shop (see picture - prior to the store was known as A W Gamage Ltd). A rare opportunity to obtain a beautiful example of the most sought after manufacturer of rocking horses. This quality antique horse would suit either a collector or make an excellent addition to any house as either a decorative piece, or even a toy. A rare and unusual piece. This solid oak refectory style table has been in my family for years and stored for the last 20. Downsizing now forces sale. It's idea for an antique restoration project. Due to exact metric dimensions and unusual leg design I believe that it may not be English. It's in need of some skilled work to restore it to its full glory. The legs have had brackets fitted to repair cracks in the wood, but when assembled all parts fit securely together. The top is a single piece of oak, 5 cms (2") thick and very heavy.
