Antique coil spring based rocking chair in need of restoration, great project

American rocking chair. May be beachwood? Letter from Eric Knowles valuing it at between £ in , this was following a photograph and letter sent to him as in photo section. Wooden base is solid but has been treated for woodworm and the cane needs re wickering as damaged as in photograph. This has been a family heirloom so I know it is a genuine antique. This is Daisy, she is a beautiful Collinsons Rocking Horse, Circa . She is looking pretty good for her age, after her recent makeover, to keep her looking her best. She is a rare Nursery size, height is 36 inches. She stands proud with her beautiful new, luscious locks, and sparkly glass eyes. She has a full set of top quality leather tack, with Melton under blankets. The stand is free swinging, and free from woodworm. Daisy is a good little filly, but she would love a new friend to keep her in check. She comes complete with her own travel blanket, to keep her warm on cold winter nights. She would make a superb Gift for a very lucky child, or would just look great in your home.
