Beautiful rare large original Arts and Craft movement mahogany wardrobe with full length mirror. The wardrobe is a 2-piece with the wardrobe being placed on top of the bottom drawer part. It's lockable and comes with the original key. The inside contains a clothes rail and single hook. Slight damage to the right side where some of the varnish has come away (pictured), otherwise good condition apart from a few minor scuffs. The mirrored door has been taken off for ease of movement, but hinges on easily with a screwdriver (it's balanced on in the photos, so normally the hinges would be invisible). Antique Mahogany Cased Arch Topped Bracket Clock, Circa

Antique Mahogany cased arch topped bracket clock, with some lovely inlaid detailing, circa ’s. This clock is marked Made in England, but has a look of the German manufacturer Gustav Becker about it. The front has thick bevelled glass which opens to winding holes on the easy to see white dial. Below the dial is a lovely detailed inlay of a rough diamond shape with what looks like a crest of some sort. The clock is raised on brass bun feet. This used to belong to my grandparents. It has a nice sounding gong from what I remember though I haven’t tested it. I believe it still works, but it might need a little TLC to get it back into good working order. Certainly all the bits are there! The case in in very good solid condition. It comes with a winding key and pendulum. Approx. dimensions – Width at bottom 9” Height 12 ½” Depth from bottom 5” These are all approximate sizes. There is a slight etching on the back of the inside cover which from what I can make out says A M. A beautiful clock for someone to own.

Rare automaton Vienna wall clock- working

Rare Automaton Vienna wall clock with Father Time striking the time on a bell. This is a working clock and is sold as a project for someone because previously the case has been stipple painted in light oak colour. It works fine and would be ok as a farmhouse kitchen clock but it might benefit from the case being stripped back and re-stained to original mahogany colour? The clock In good working order and comes with key and pendulum. Special feature of this Vienna is at the top there is a figure of Father Time holding a bell Hammer which he then uses to strike the bell, once at each half hour and at each hour it strikes the time. A very unusual mechanism I would think as I’ve not come across one if these before? Dimensions - 33” tall x 16” wide x 7” deep. (84cm x 41cm x 17cm) case including top pediment and base crown. Father Time is cm) tall and the bell is approx 3.5” tall x cm tall x 8cm) wide at the base. This clock also benefits from having replacement top finials ready to stain or paint. Original Base crown and finial all in place. The clock has German striking movement and is working as it should. There are half turned side pillars to each side of the opening front glazed door. There is brass banjo style sundial pendulum and a beat plaque at bottom of backboard. There are glass panels to each side of the case where the movement can be seen working. I would Prefer personal collection from our home, due to the glass content or you may arrange your own courier to collect for you at your own risk.
