Antique Writing Slope in Keighley

This is a fantastic example of a writing slope from the mid s. The box measures approx 18" x 10" x 6" when closed. Finished in walnut it is in extremely good condition. The corners are protected by brass fittings, with brass name slots on either end. There is a brass name plate on top of the box lid. The box opens to reveal a red leather slope. The leather is in perfect condition. Beneath the leather is space for keeping writing paper, envelopes etc. There are small sections at the front for pens, pencils or other stationery implements. There are 2 secret drawers which are revealed by pressing a disguised button. The key is included and the lock is in full working condition. The box can be collected free of charge but can also be sent by carrier. Please message with address if you need a price.
