Attractive late Victorian/Edwardian small writing desk/bureau with inlaid mahogany decoration

A very attractive late Victorian/Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau / writing desk circa , in good condition. It is relatively small and lightweight, and would fit into a smallish space (for example, the corner of a sitting room or study, or entrance hall). The desk is inlaid with lighter woods, probably satinwood and boxwood. It has cabriole legs and drop handles. The writing surface folds down and is supported by two retractable arms. There are three generous drawers in its lower part. The desk measures 76 cm (30”) wide, 41 cm (16”) deep and 91 cm (39.5”) tall. It has a writing height of 68 cm (26.5″). This is a very attractive bureau in very good condition. External features include attractive inlay, brass handles and glass trellis work on the bookcase doors. The leather surface of the desk surface is in good condition, as are the small drawers inside the main bureau. The key works for the bureau, top drawer and the glass doors. Please note that the top of the bureau is scratched (see final photo), though you don't see this as the bookcase rests on top of it. The glazed bookcase and the bureau are separate parts. Antique Inlaid Mahogany Bureau

Here is an attractive antique Mahogany Veneer Bureau. It has an inlaid Flower and Vase centrally placed on the desk door, with stringing around the edges. There are a number of small drawers and cubby holes within the bureau. The desk lid has a couple cracks lengthwise but is otherwise in good condition. The three drawers have scrolled Brass drop handles. The middle drawer has lost one of its handles. Pretty inlaid Edwardian single door mahogany wardrobe

Lovely quality inlaid Edwardian wardrobe with single door of arched Bevelled mirror. The interior has hooks in centre and along the back which could easily be replaced with hanging rail. These have been fine for me in spare bedroom but rail would hold more if used continually. Large bottom drawer,super storage. One of drawer handles slightly damaged but does not impair use.
