For Sale Broodmare/ Project Jessicas Hurricane Mare 14.2hh 5 years old Throughbred x Standardbred Passported and up to date OPEN TO OFFERS Jessica is for sale as a broodmare or a project for someone that's willing to put the time and effort in. She moves like a dream and floats across the ground. She's been lunged in full tack, seen farm vehicles, dogs and hasn't battered an eye lid. She's not the easiest of mares as can be very mareish she's only good to catch if you have food but this had got better before, she had an accident involving barbed wire she has recovered from this and has left very little scaring on her shoulder and has always been sound even when she had the injury. She will happily stand to be groomed and have a feet picked out, is ok to clip if clippers are quiet, she's fine to lead and tie up. Lovely 16.1hh 8yr old mare. Fantastic temperament, been ridden & competed sucessfully in dressage, showjumping & showing. Nicely put together & moves straight. Good to catch, shoe, box, clip etc. Will turn out individually or with mares or geldings. Only for sale as a broodmare or project as she has gone slightly lame on her near hind leg, it is hardly noticeable but I'm not sure what she has done as there is no heat or swelling. She has been ridden in the past, but would probably need restarting. She has also had a foal and was a good mum. She is great with other horses and loves to be around them. Broodmare/Project Horse 16hh ISH Bay Mare

Ballygarrett Bonnie Rose aka Double D. 8 years old, bay mare. 16hh but looks much bigger. Currently in work and hacking out. I'm advertising her as a broodmare or project as she is a big strong mare who has a few issues. I bought her 'off the field' and have had no problem reintroducing her back to ridden work after 2 years off. She can be spooky to handle especially with hind feet with a farrier. She is fully shod but you need a patient farrier. She's good to hack and is fantastic in all traffic. She just does not like other horses (that she doesn't know, I've ridden her out lots in company) coming up too close behind her. I rode her on a recent hunt ride and she was perfect until strange horses came up behind her and she shot off away from them. She will jump but there does appear to be some sort of issue as one day she'll jump then other days she takes off at a fence and runs out. She needs time and patience if she were to be fully ridden again. She would be an ideal riding horse / show horse / dressage for someone who is knowledgable - she is fine in a group lesson or indoor/outdoor ménage with other horses going round.
