For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own. Fender 60th Anniversary American Vintage '54 Stratocaster

Ash body, maple neck and fretboard, 21 vintage frets, scale 648mm, nut mm, bone nut, single coil pickups, American vintage tremolo with pat.pending saddles, vintage no logo machine heads, 1 ply white pick guard, finish 2 tone sunburst flash coat lacquer. Tweed case, vintage replica cloth, cable, black leather strap, bridge cover, extra tremolo springs (2), 3 way switch. Purchased new March , all completely original and unmodified as per purchase. Frets in excellent condition, no visible wear that I can see. A few minor imperfections: There is a small chip in the lacquer through to paint 3-4mm diameter located on the top, approximately an inch from the heel strap button. Less than a sq.cm of lacquer with paint has flaked under the neck strap button, this is not seen when a strap is in place. Minor lacquer checking around the neck pocket at the heel and on the bottom side of the neck pocket. Only noticeable on close inspection with good light,l. Hopefully this is all visible in the photos which have increased brightness to try and highlight the blemishes. There is a small indentation in the pick guard at the truss rod heel adjust. This is a great guitar. Legitimate sale to fund a custom shop Strat I have my eye on. Neck is 7.25in Radius. Vintage C profile.
