Here for sale my Fender Tele named Buttercup. I had no intention of selling this guitar at all, and hoped that I could let her age with me for that classic Road Worn look, but unfortunately needs must. Other than the very small dings on the famously thin nitrocellulose lacquer, it is immaculate as you will see from no sign of wear at all on the neck! The Guitar could be called Shop Soiled, The Case is in Shop Stock condition, guitar has never been gigged, so has not left the house, case been under bed since purchase last year. For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own. Special edition / limited run American Vintage '65 reissue Jaguar, in sonic blue. I don't believe they made many in this particular colour. The guitar is like new, not a mark on it having been played just a couple of times at home in the year or so I've had it (from new). The guitar has been professionally set up with Fender flatwound 11s and it feels and sounds as good as it looks:) I'm selling the guitar as I'm finding myself playing more acoustic and spending time on other interests.
