In immaculate condition with all original case candy included. No issues anywhere on this guitar, which I bought in brand new from my local music store; year having played strats for 35 years! It is simply not for me so I am looking to cut my losses and move it on to someone who will actually play it. I will not move on what is a very fair price and would prefer not to post although I will for £25 tracked and insured within the UK. This guitar was serviced, restrung and cleaned by the retailer and is in perfect condition such that you would not believe it had ever been played! Here for sale my Fender Tele named Buttercup. I had no intention of selling this guitar at all, and hoped that I could let her age with me for that classic Road Worn look, but unfortunately needs must. Other than the very small dings on the famously thin nitrocellulose lacquer, it is immaculate as you will see from no sign of wear at all on the neck! For sale is this Fender USA American Vintage Hot Rod Telecaster, made in . These are no longer available to buy and are becoming more sought after. Cost c. £ new The guitar is in excellent condition, with only a couple of small marks on the body as shown in the photos. All original, except the stock Seymour Duncan Gibson Firebird type mini-humbucker neck pickup was removed by a previous owner and a high spec. Gibson Burstbucker installed. This replacement Gibson pickup alone is worth c.£100. The original mini-humbucker is also provided, it's in the case. Comes complete with original hard case in almost unmarked condition, plus all hangtags, key for case etc. that originally came with the guitar. This guitar has a fantastic, quite large (but not full baseball bat) neck, and the frets are in excellent shape with hardly any wear. All switches & pots function correctly with no buzzes or scratches. Plays beautifully, quite powerful gutsy vintage tone from both pickups, which are quite hot. The current neck humbucker blends beautifully with the bridge pickup in the middle position, and both pickups sound great pon their own. Has had a recent pro-setup with 10s, and is solid as a rock. Feel free to try it out, my amp is a Laney VC15 small valve amp, or bring your own. Okey, Dokey, here we have a beautiful, almost pristine Fender American Vintage '69 Telecaster Thinline in 2 tone burst. This has to be one of the cleanest & most playable Tele's we have had for some time. Her neck is just superb, very fast and comfy with the 'C' contour profile, that just sits right in the palm. Her sounds are pure Tele, crisp, clucky & as bright as you like, of rounded off to be smooth and sultry when required. I think you would be hard pushed to get a cleaner used Tele than this, she still has the protective film on the scratchplate. I would say she is in 99% as new condition.
