Pair TANNOY 15 Dual Concentric Speakers + Crossovers

These vintage speakers and crossovers, from a recent estate sale, had been installed in custom built cabinets which are, unfortunately, too large for shipping. The speakers were tested with a 45 watt Mitsubishi tuner and the sound is wonderful: smooth midrange, clean highs, and extended bass. The 2 speakers, with their crossovers, are sold as a set, as all are matched components. All original and excellent working condition

Tannoy 636 Hi Fi Speakers

A pair of Tannoy 636 floor standing speakers in very good condition. There are a couple of very small scuffs, and one almost invisible chip on the edge of the cabinet. They sound great and look good too. They each have two drivers, one 6" dual concentric with centre tweeter and one 6"bass driver. They can be bi-wired, but this is optional. One speaker is missing one cable clamp screw, but this could easily be replaced with a nut of the correct size. The cabinets are approx 72 cm high, and are tapered towards the back. They have a compartment in the base which can filled with lead shot, and are complete with carpet spikes, together which can improve the bass response even further.
