A pair of Tannoy 636 floor standing speakers in very good condition. There are a couple of very small scuffs, and one almost invisible chip on the edge of the cabinet. They sound great and look good too. They each have two drivers, one 6" dual concentric with centre tweeter and one 6"bass driver. They can be bi-wired, but this is optional. One speaker is missing one cable clamp screw, but this could easily be replaced with a nut of the correct size. The cabinets are approx 72 cm high, and are tapered towards the back. They have a compartment in the base which can filled with lead shot, and are complete with carpet spikes, together which can improve the bass response even further. Full frequency range, smooth treble.Bi wireability is a high end feature which allows you to run separate wires from the amplifier to the treble and main driver. In normal speaking mode you just link the two terminals together. And connect as you would any other speaker. These are full frequency range speakers and will transform any good quality minisystem beyond belief.
