You can burn anything on this stove from logs to coal, and pretty much anything in-between - pellets, coke etc. The stove is black, full glaze stove enamel (gloss) and can be fitted as a free standing unit in, say an inglenook, or inset into a more formal fire surround. I bought the stove a couple of years ago for a project, but it's never been used, and is still fitted to its original transport pallet. Whilst is was in storage in my workshop, one of the doors sustained a couple of very minor chips to the enamel/glaze, but is hardly noticeable.
