I bought him to retrain and use him to go out hacking and do some hunting on however due to no fault of Dundee, I am reluctantly selling as I can no longer afford to keep a horse. He will wander round the field with you and will happily come to call. Joey does love a good groom but can be awkward with picking up his legs to pick out his hooves. In his previous home Joey hadn't been hacked out that much so with me he really has progressed a lot in that department and benefits from being with horses who are good on the roads. Joey has mainly only consistently spooked at grids in the road. All he needs is a reassuring voice and a kick along and he will go. He can be nappy but is never nasty, just very nervous. All he needs is a steady hand to guide him along! I really do love this horse with all my heart but just don't have the time he needs or facilities to progress with him and ideally he needs a school. Joey is confident with walking through water, jumping jogs and poles and opening and closing gates. Joey is happy to work in the school and does so in a nice outline. I have made the hard decision to sell my lovely horse Jordan. Jordi is a hh 14year old thoroughbred Gelding looking for a quieter life. I have owned Jordan for 4 year and in that time have had a lot of fun with him. He is not your usual thoroughbred, can be picked up and dropped with no fuss and is currently being hacked out by a novice rider 3 times a week. Sam is a 14 year old Thoroughbred/ Irish Draught who is registered as 15.3 but is easily 16hh. Sam is being sold through no fault of is own but due to my lack of time due to college. Sam is rode in a snaffle bit at all times and genuinely enjoys schooling work, having 3 beautiful paces and always aiming to please. Sam has competed in local shows and is and always comes out in the ribbons as he is a real mover with confidence and power. Sam loves to jump and has jumped a meter with me but has the potential for so much higher. At times while jumping sam can get forward and rarely adds in a tiny buck however this is only due to excitement as it is his favourite activity but comes back easily to a firm hand. Carrying a whip is enough for sam as he genuinely aims to please and responds so much more to a gentle but firm hand when needed-he hates getting wrong! He is very forgiving when riding and loves to be praised. Sam loves to hack out along woodland tracks but may need some encouragement occasionally while going through water which is his one hate. Sam is not a novice ride as in new places at first he can be quite nervy and need a a confident rider to push him forward and has his quirks now and again but the good far far outweighs the bad always. He is really rewarding and trusting, once there is a bond he becomes much bolder and always always aims to please,listening to both leg and voice commands and always trying his best. Sam enjoys living out in the summer and comes in during the winter months. He is easy to catch, shoe, groom, tack up etc- his manners are excellent apart from the odd head rub out off affection.
