Traditional Piebald cob Mare in Dorking

Traditional Piebald cob Mare 14hh, 7 years old Skye Is fantastic on the ground and is easy to catch (she comes to call), she is good with the farrier and will stand for hours to be groomed. She has lots of feather and a lovely mane coming, she would look stunning in a show ring! She was backed towards the end of last year and turned away, due to my disability she has not done as much as I had hoped this year. My 8 year old niece has ridden her on lead, and I had a professional rider come to ride her for me a couple of months ago, he said she was a plod so would be great for someone who wants to just take things slow and hack out. I feel in the right hands she could go a lot further, she is green and needs a little time spent on her, she is willing but I just can't give her what she needs. This has not been an easy decision for me to make but due to my disability I have to think of my mare and what she should be doing. Sold from the field.

Cobra is a lovely STAGBI registered Standardbred, she’s standing at around 16,3hh. We got her from the RSPCA in October with the view of breaking her in the spring. I did some light work with her in January before becoming pregnant. I did little ground work, laid over her and walked around sitting her without any issues. (This was a year ago now though) She has been handled daily and stables at night and has been turned out with a mixed herd She is a very gentle giant with the kindest nature. His saddle has been made for him (saddle company) with calf skin leathers, safety stirrups and a Mark Todd wide girth and he will have a Le Mieux sheepskin pad which he uses now and he is happiest in his micklem bridle so his tack alone with all the trimmings cost a small fortune. Please note he is not for sale without tack as I believe he needs to have what fits him and not make do with a cheap alternative. He is good to shoe,box and clip and has impeccable manners around the stable and yard. I adore this lad so I will expect to view any potential new homes. LWVTB is possible but only if kept on present yard
