Kids handle her all the time, groom, rugs on and off and in out the field, currently she has my 9 year old niece riding her on and off, she is the kind of mare you can leave for days and weeks. ?When I got her she was in a very poor state but since I have had her teeth done, vet check and farrier and all ok with her! Chiropractor came out to her as she seems to have one leg stuck in pace mode and the vet and chiropractor have said she would be suited as a happy hacker or brood mare. Cobra is a lovely STAGBI registered Standardbred, she’s standing at around 16,3hh. We got her from the RSPCA in October with the view of breaking her in the spring. I did some light work with her in January before becoming pregnant. I did little ground work, laid over her and walked around sitting her without any issues. (This was a year ago now though) She has been handled daily and stables at night and has been turned out with a mixed herd She is a very gentle giant with the kindest nature. Due to her unknown past she needs a kind but firm hand. She loves to be brushed and pampered although she can be weary with her feet being picked up, her legs being brushed and her ears being touched. She is being sold as a companion or a project as she will need lots of time and patience to bring her into any kind of work (this is definitely doable but will take time!) She is super friendly with other horses and likes to mother any youngsters. She can live in or out with rugs. He is broken to ride and drive, and I bought him off the track a few years ago. Cruise is a sensitive ride who requires a kind rider. He is excellent to hack out ridden or on a cart, brilliant in the heaviest of traffic. Cruise loves to jump, he excels in cross country and gives it his all. Cruise is green in the school, so does require more schooling. Because he doesn’t have much schooling and has raced, he is not a novice ride and is sold as a project horse. Cruise has outstanding ground manners and has a lot of love to give. Excellent to clip, shoe, load, travel and catch. He is up to date with the dentist, Farrier and vaccinations. Dakota - hh 8 yr old bright bay gelding For sale as a light hack/school - companion due to a previous injury when younger. Due to this injury he needs his feet doing every 5-6 weeks like clockwork. He is barefoot and cannot be shod at all. Has strong feet so would never need shoes. He’s good for farrier, dentist and does load with a little persuasion once on, travels brilliant. He’s just been wormed with equest pramox. He is passported and microchipped He’s a loving boy with a personality to match, I just do not have the time to spend with him and he’s just shoved in a field at the moment. His previous injury means that he cannot be under heavy workload. Can be nervous to begin with but once he has earned your trust he will be your best friend for life.
