I have kept and bred both Hermanns & Spur Thighed tortoises for over 37 years.These 2 breeds are the hardiest and were the first to be brought into this country in the late 50's early 60's.I now have hatchlings ready to go. You will be invited to visit, see all the girls and boys and eggs in the incubators. You will go away with a list of items required. My hatchlings are brought up in an open unit NO vivarium's. The baby can go into the garden from day one during the Summer and will go out full time year 2/3 and hibernate thereafter.You are bringing up an English tortoise as it is bred here so going into the garden from an early age will harden it off to our climate.
