This backgeared lathe (Bed Number:)is old but with little wear! - All mechanisms work smoothly and it comes complete with the following Gears: 55T; 50T; 45T; 40T; 38T; 35T and two 20T. It's mounted on the original cast iron Base, and I have found a Countershaft which could be utilised to give a range of speeds. There is a -Jaw Chuck with Key, and a 5-3/4" Faceplate which I am having some trouble screwing on!(but I am hoping to get another to replace it shortly). The Spindle Nose is 'as new' however. There is no Motor included, but I do have available a powerful 110-Volt motor with matched Transformer as an extra should you need one. The lathe will fit into the average car's boot, and can be lifted by two persons who've had their Weetabix for breakfast! Local delivery possible up to 50 miles for petrol cost.
