This is a lovely table that I have referbished for those shabby chic lovers like myself. A hand distressed, country white chalk paint was used as the base then topped off with a brown cream wax for that much loved aged look. The top has been sanded and bleached for the light, raw farmhouse table look. Regular bleaching for clean up is advisable. Stunning solid pine table and 6 fiddle back chairs. This beautiful table has been sanded and polished smooth to reveal its lovely pine and dyed using a lovely American walnut colour then finished with rustins finishing oil. (Food safe)The legs and chairs are chalk painted by hand, the legs have a smooth finish were as the chairs have a more Rustic shabby chic finish. I have sanded and chipped away some of the paint on the chairs for a rustic look. The finished is sealed using polyvine wax finish varnish in a satin finish. Very solid. Some signs of wear as with all up cycled furniture. Length 6 ft width 2ft 10 height 2 ft 6. Please note I have hand painted this table and chairs in a shabby chic style it has not been spray painted so does not have the perfect smooth finish but the style it's been painted adds character and a real rustic feel. Stunning, solid, farmhouse pine table & 6 chairs, the table has been sanded back to bare wood, the top has been given two coats of Libron medium oak wax to give it protection and add beautiful sheen that brings out the natural beauty of the pine. The legs and chairs have been sanded back and sprayed with 2 coats of primer, sanded between each coat to give a lovely smooth finish then sprayed with two coats of farrow and ball ponting colour matched estate eggshell paint that gives a lovely sheen and adds durability. Here is a gorgeous, Professionally upcycled solid Pine Farmhouse Dining table / Kitchen table and 6 chairs. The chairs and the main body of the table have been finished in Annie Sloan "Old Ochre" (which is a creamy "off White") The paintwork was then very lightly distressed to add to its style and character. Finally it was finished in a Polyvine "Wax Varnish" (which gives it the look & feel of wax but with the durability of varnish !!!) The finish has been protected with clear wax. The table top and the chair seats have been stripped and sanded back to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has then been enhanced in places and then a white wax wax applied over it to give it a bleached look. The table panels have been decoupaged with a white wood effect print to finish the look. The ladder back chairs are heavy and sturdy and the table legs remove for ease of transportation. Although this set comes with 4 chairs it could comfortably seat 6. This solid pine farmhouse style dining table and chairs has been painted in Annie Sloan's country grey chalk paint. The finish has been distressed slightly to give it the popular shabby chic look. The table top has been stripped and sanded to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has been protected with a flat matte varnish as has the paint on the chairs and table base. The chairs have are a high ladder back and the set comes with two carvers. The seat pads have been recovered in a luxurious chenille material in a stony grey colour that compliments the neutral palette perfectly. The table top is unusual in design as it tapers slightly at each end and I've tried to pick this up in the photo's. It also separates from the base making it easier for transportation. This set has had a previous life and been imported from Australia so has picked up the odd knock along the way. However this only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel.
