This solid pine farmhouse style dining table and chairs has been painted in Annie Sloan's country grey chalk paint. The finish has been distressed slightly to give it the popular shabby chic look. The table top has been stripped and sanded to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has been protected with a flat matte varnish as has the paint on the chairs and table base. The chairs have are a high ladder back and the set comes with two carvers. The seat pads have been recovered in a luxurious chenille material in a stony grey colour that compliments the neutral palette perfectly. The table top is unusual in design as it tapers slightly at each end and I've tried to pick this up in the photo's. It also separates from the base making it easier for transportation. This set has had a previous life and been imported from Australia so has picked up the odd knock along the way. However this only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel. This solid pine farmhouse style table and six chairs has been painted in a soft grey chalk paint and then distressed to give it the popular shabby chic look. The finish has been protected with clear wax. The table top and the chair seats have been stripped and sanded back to reveal the beautiful natural wood grain. This has then been enhanced in places and then wax applied over it for protection. The table panels have been decoupaged with a grey wood effect print to finish the look which has been protected with several coats of hard wearing varnish. The ladder back studded chairs are sturdy and the table legs remove for ease of transportation. Although this set comes with 6 chairs it could comfortably seat 8. This has a previous life so has picked up the odd knock along the way however this does not detract from the beauty of the piece in fact it only gives it a more authentic shabby chic feel. Four-seater wooden dining room table, with wooden chairs. This is a cream-coloured table, with original wooden top, with four cream-coloured chairs to match. Included with the set are four green-gingham chair covers. The table is approximately two years old, and has been in active use since then. There are minor scratches to the surface of the table consistent with everyday use, however no children have used the table and hence there's only minor superficial scratches. Note the "scratchwork" to the chair legs are consistent with the shabby chic design. This is also reflected on the wooden half of the table (in white). The table top is easy clean. Refurbished Shabby Chic Kitchen Dining Table and Four Chairs

Beautiful Solid Oak Refurbished Kitchen Dining Table and Four Chairs. The table top has been sanded to remove all the old stain varnish and reveal the glorious patanation of the sold oak wood grain. I have then sealed with three coats of a diamond hard clear matt varnish, so spillages just wipe away. The table base is a refectory oak base that is extremely solid and sturdy. This has been hand-painted in the specialist furniture chalk paint Annie Sloan in a lovely shade of light grey and sealed again with clear matt varnish. There are four ercol style chairs with this table with wonderful farmhouse turned legs and spindle backs these have been painted and sealed to match. The whole set has been very slightly distressed in keeping with the charm and character of shabby "N" chic. Table measurements are 54 inch length and 63 inch width. You could easily seat up to six diners around this table. This set is in fabulous condition and will grace any home and give you that much sought after vintage French Country Shabby "N" chic style. Solid pine dining table, approx. 145cm x 85cm (around 57" x 33.5"). Top of table was sanded and legs painted in Annie Sloan 'old ochre' chalk paint, which is a beautiful pale cream/beige colour. Table top could do with another sand down now as there are a few marks. Table legs can be removed for easier transportation. Four solid pine chairs, with varnished pine seats and painted white backs and legs. Paint is chipped in places. This was a shabby chic project that I never had time to finish off.
