Very handsome 13.2hh Welsh sec c 15yrs old. He has been there and done it and now wearing the t shirt. He has done all pc activities and rallies and always brings the ribbons home at shows. He is up to date with everything, fantastic with the farrier and loves to be hosed down and have a bath. He is fantastic to hack out alone or in company first last or in the middle in the heaviest of traffic. He is hacked out every weekend by my 8yr old daughter on the roads and over our local common. He likes jumping and you only have to show him the jump and he will take himself over it. My daughter leads him in from the field and stands and grooms him for ages and she picks all 4 feet out. Gladiator is a clever and attractive pony who could do any job. He has been in work for approx. 18 months, in which time he has proved himself to be safe, bold, quick to learn and useful. He loves to jump and is a safe hack, and has been ridden by all members of the family from 6 years old up to adults. He would be a quiet lead-rein pony for an older child, but is talented enough to be so much more. He has been to pony club camp and shown himself to have excellent flatwork and jumping. He has played polo, swum in the river with a rider on board, and is bold at everything he has been asked to do. He has hunted both with a child on and off the lead rein, and with a light adult. He has even carried a sidesaddle with both adult and child riders, and was totally unbothered. Although he is overheight to show as a section C, he would make a lovely working hunter pony (up to 14hh). his flatwork is good enough for pure dressage, and he never refuses a jump, safely carrying an adult rider over some huge ditches when hunting. Bryn is a handsome 12.2 hh Welsh Section C 13 yr old who is now for sale due to owner moving overseas. Bryn is happiest hacking out and he has done this with riders from 8 years old (lead rein) to 70 years old while he has been with us. He recently gave a 60 year old friend her confidence back after a fall from another horse, she has had a glorious time hacking on roads and bridleways locally and will happily vouch for Bryn. Bryn will hack alone quite happily and is good in company but he doesn’t like to get left behind, when cantering behind others he will occasionally buck but it isn’t malicious, he just gets a bit agitated if he has to catch up. Bryn has also experienced some parelli/natural horsemanship, and has been ridden in a halter & rope reins for flatwork and jumping. He has been to PC Camp and rallies (lead rein). Bryn has taught owners daughter’s non-riding friends to ride on the lunge, and he has never put a foot wrong with them.
