27ft Dawncraft River Cruiser project Boat

I took this restoration on about 3 months ago when it was out of the water, I had the hull repaired, strengthened and gel coated, built a new wooden centre cockpit ready to gel coat over. It's a 27ft Dawncraft and is not on the water with no leaks in the hull, it is also fitted with automatic bilge pump rigged up to a battery and solar charger. I also have a boat licence exemption certificate on it. It is moored next to the slipway pub car park in Burscough. Due to arthritis I cannot do any more work in it, so I am passing it on to someone who will enjoy fitting it out and using it again. there is a slipway that can be used next to the boat if you bring a trailer or there is a mooring available that can be rented from canal and river trust. For sale our lovely 5 berth Bruce Roberts sailing yacht. We have had some amazing times with her but she is now looking for more adventure with a new Captain. Currently on the water in Gosport Hampshire. The Vessel - copied from last survey Bruce Roberts designed 34' sailing yacht. The year of build is believed to be circa . Overall length - 33.5' Waterline length - 24.5' Overall beam - ' Draft - 5.5' Displacement - 5 tons (approx) The hull was moulded in GRP with a straight raked stem, round bilges and a retrousse stern. The topsides were finished with a hard resin, white gelcoat that had been over painted in white. Below the waterline the hull was seen to be of moulded GRP shell, stiffened internally by stringers bonded to the interior and supported upon a steel 'H' frame. A Yanmar 3GM three cylinder, 30HP marine diesel drives a fixed three bladed propeller through a reduction gearbox and conventional shaft arrangement. Encapsulated fin keel, wheel steering through a 'skeg hung rudder' and self draining cockpit. Good points - she sleeps 5, forecabin has double berth, saloon area converts to double, pilot berth aft. Comes with two main sails, furling genoa and a cruising shute. Paraffin cooker, wet room with shower. Deck recently painted. VAT exempt, surveys and paperwork from . Not so good points - unfinished refit to front double cabin the basics are complete so new owner can choose final finish to their taste.
