Fully Restored, including Stand, with glass eyes. Height from floor to top of neck 39 inches. Baby Carriage rocking horse’s are definitely an old time favourite, renowned for their elegant necks and tucked in head. Ezra is a lovely example. He has undergone full restoration, and has been professionally restored, including stand. His paintwork has been carried out in a subtle, light dapple grey. Darker grey to emphasize his features and lines. Mane and tail set are in a lovely gentle grey / blond horse hair. His saddlery comprises of, Havana leather bridle with fulmer bit, Havana martingale dock and crupper, Havana saddle flaps and two-tone havana seat. Finished off with a deep burgundy saddle cloth, with antique stud embellishment. He would make the perfect gift for any child or adult, and would definitely rock under the Christmas tree Christmas morning!!! Able to store for Christmas collection. Antique American rocking chair, late 19th century

A lovely condition late 19th Century (Victorian) American Rocking Chair with turned bobbin spindles. I understand the date to be around , and I believe the wood used is Walnut. I am not an antiques expert, therefore I have described the age and wood type to the best of my knowledge, but cannot make any guarantees! Most of these chairs seem to be described as Walnut, however I've seen one antique person saying it's mahogany - how you tell the difference is beyond my ability. It has its own particular rocking mechanism, it rocks on its own base with two coil springs to bring it back to the centre. The fabric is floral patterned and fixed by studs (none seem missing), I think this has been recovered some time in it's long history. The fabric doesn't appear to have any staining or damage at all. The woodwork seems great condition to me, the only really tiny fault I can find is a little piece under one of the arms which I'd say is not an issue, and I'm pretty thorough with these kind of checks! The chair is very comfortable and has a nice rocking motion. The seat and the seat back are gently contoured. Dimensions (really approx) are - 100cm high, 54cm width, 90cm depth, and seating area approx 43cm width. Collection would obviously be preferred as I don't normally ship furniture, and also this gives you a chance to examine the chair, but if you're unable to collect we may be able to arrange something.
