Hi there, this bike is in excellent condition for it's age, the tyres only need replacing (which i can do for an added £20). It would fit a person between the heights of 5 foot 4, and 5 foot 8, I can adjust saddle to fit. Wheels are true (straight, not buckled), all spokes are tight. Bearings in the hubs/crank/headset are smooth with no play in them. Brakes are excellent, lines are clean. Gears all slot in as they should, the chain/rings/cassette all have lots of wear left. Hi there, this bike is in good condition for it's age, it does have cosmetic corrosion though, please bear this in mind. It would fit a person between the heights of 5 foot 5, and 5 foot 10, I can adjust saddle to fit, seat post moves. Tyres are in decent condition, they are Schwalbe Lugano's. Bearings in the hubs/crank/headset are smooth with no play in them. Brakes are good, lines are clean. Gears have new lines. Shimano 105 basically everywhere apart from the newer wheels. It's priced according to it's condition. Normally I would set something like this aside and restore it, but too many bikes at this time of year give me little time to do so. It is very much rideable, it's just slightly rarer to come by and these frames were made by Mercier and Bertin back in the day! So either it gets used as a good, decent quality student bicycle for the year, or someone who appreciates their bikes will take this and give it a full restoration. Either way, the price I think is fair/cheap compared to similar ones I've seen go for in the past.
