's Raleigh Record Sprint vintage racing/road Bike

This bike is in pristine original condition after being stored in an attic for 20+ years until August last year when I purchased it from its original owner and I have only rode it a couple of times and has spent most of its life in my hands sitting in my garage under a cover as the weather has been too poor to ride it. The bike is in amazing original condition and has all it's original components. I have re-covered the saddle in suede exactly like the original however it has started coming away and will need re-glueing but this is an easy fix. I replaced the damaged Raleigh record sprint decal with the best re-production I could find that was available at the time. I have also replaced the bar tape with leather deda tape that is brand new. The bike has a shimano golden arrow rear derailleur, Sachs huret middle derailleur, very rare original Weinmann aero wheels, gold anodised sakae Road custom bars, gold anodised weinmann brake callipers and levers with original hoods, original s Vittoria tyres with tubes that hold air but have gone flat during storage, gold anodised and black sugiano gt crankset and a large Reynolds 501 ovalised aero tubing frame. Vintage Men's Raleigh Record Sprint Road Racing Bike £225 ono This racing bike was hand built in the Raleigh factory in Nottingham in the 's. It features a top quality 501 Reynolds steel frame and Belgian made Weinmann alloy 700c wheels with attractive looking gold hubs. The bike has Sachs Huret 7 speed gears controlled by friction levers on the downtube. Braking is provided by gold Weinmann gear levers and front and rear calipers with braided gold outer brake cable installed. Brand new Michelin Dynamic Sport tyres complete the original vintage look of the bike. - 54cm Reynolds 501 steel frame with original decals (there is some moderate wear to these) - would likely suit a rider between 5'7" and 5'11" - Weimann alloy 700c wheels - Sachs huret front and rear derailleur, and levers (14 gears) - Weinmann brake levers and calipers - SR crankset - SR Road Champion alloy handlbars - Selle Royal saddle - New Sunrace sealed cartridge bottom bracket - New Shimano chain - New inner and outer brake and gear cables - New cork bar tape - New grease and bearings in wheel hubs and headset - New Michelin Dynamic Classic 700cx23 tyres - New inner tubes and rim tape - New gold alloy bottle cage The bike has been stripped back to the bare frame, thoroughly cleaned and reassembled with new bearings and cables installed.
