I have for sale my 11year old typical chestnut mare. She will hack alone or in company. She is forward going. Currently ridden by an adult. Rode by a novice teen in the menage. She is excellent to clip and shoe. Treats are needed during summer months to catch. She loves schooling work and has potential for dressage but she is wasted by me as I just want to hack. Used to heavy traffic, lorries, motorbikes etc but can spook at tiny things. She doesnt rear or buck. She is up to date with vaccs, teeth. She is a typical chestnut mare and she can kick out at other horses whilst ridden or tied up(mainly when tied up). You need to be experienced with these types of mares or she will take advantage. I generally believe and have been told she has dressage potential and I also think with the right owner she could become a lovely all-rounder. For sale! Lady loulou (loulou) registered Welsh section D 4 year old mare. Loulou has been lightly backed and is beginning to understand the basic aids though still understandably green. She has taken to ridden work brilliantly and will make someone a cracking horse with further education. She is still a fairly blank canvas as has spent most of her life turned away due to my lack of time. She has always wintered out rugless only having hay during snow/really harsh weather and has always come out of winter looking amazing. Gwen is a traditional stamp of a section D mare. Leg in each corner type, born . Gwenllian has been on the farm with us for a number of years now, broken in by myself. We decided to breed her last year and she has produced me a lovely big quality strong colt that we've decided to run on in a few years. Foal is now weaned and the mare is ready to start back slowly her ridden work. She has hunted with myself - good on the field, not strong, good around hounds. At home she was hacking out alone & in company / not a kicker, and has always been good in traffic (we are on a bus route). Excellent to box, lives in and out, has been clipped in the past with me but not recent. Gwen is a nervous kind of mare, she can be good to catch in big fields - if and when she has a bond with you. The more time you spend with her, the better she is and with the bond will come across as a complete different mare. I definitely don't get to spend the amount of time with her as we'd both like as the yard is full of horses at the moment. She is a little underweight at the moment (For my liking) due to the foal & stress of weaning, but by no means least is she underweight. (I like mine in constant show condition) Gwen will be your typical allrounder type - no novices as she does need to be brought into work quietly as she has been out of ridden work for approx. 1yr 7 months. Would make an ideal stud mare for any future breeders as she gives the bone she has to her young stock. Dewisant Lobelia. 7 year old registered Section A chestnut mare by Rockyview Buttons, out of Dewisant Lavender. Libby has the most exceptional temperament, is good to catch, farrier, groom, load, travel etc. Libby wears full tack and happily lunges and long reins off voice commands. She is great to work with and learns quickly. We have done some bombproofing work with her, she has been fine standing at the roadside with traffic passing, including silage contractors whizzing by. She has also had builders' bags, tarpaulins etc draped over her. She would benefit from being on a busy yard environment now as she is still a little spooky. This is a very sad sale as she is such a friendly little pony who my daughter loves dearly but she isn't a confident enough jockey to further Libby's education. Wormed and feet trimmed regularly.
