15.1hh Registered WPCS Section D Mare For Sale in Neath
Gwen is a traditional stamp of a section D mare. Leg in each corner type, born . Gwenllian has been on the farm with us for a number of years now, broken in by myself. We decided to breed her last year and she has produced me a lovely big quality strong colt that we've decided to run on in a few years. Foal is now weaned and the mare is ready to start back slowly her ridden work. She has hunted with myself - good on the field, not strong, good around hounds. At home she was hacking out alone & in company / not a kicker, and has always been good in traffic (we are on a bus route). Excellent to box, lives in and out, has been clipped in the past with me but not recent. Gwen is a nervous kind of mare, she can be good to catch in big fields - if and when she has a bond with you. The more time you spend with her, the better she is and with the bond will come across as a complete different mare. I definitely don't get to spend the amount of time with her as we'd both like as the yard is full of horses at the moment. She is a little underweight at the moment (For my liking) due to the foal & stress of weaning, but by no means least is she underweight. (I like mine in constant show condition) Gwen will be your typical allrounder type - no novices as she does need to be brought into work quietly as she has been out of ridden work for approx. 1yr 7 months. Would make an ideal stud mare for any future breeders as she gives the bone she has to her young stock. This is a sad sale of a good mare - she needs time, a bond & I just cannot give this to her with all the horse horses and working full time. 5* knowledgeable homes only - no novices, timewasters, dreamers. £ ONO - to good home.
