Lovely chestnut mare 9 yrs old. 15 hh approx. For sale due to owners back condition. Very green as has done very little due to the aforesaid. Always willing to learn and please. Good to load, walking out in traffic, farrier, dentist, vet. Up to date with vacs, worming and teeth. Totally wasted at present. Has been backed but not ridden away so needs an experienced and knowledgable home to do her justice. Very sad sale, but I just cannot do her myself. Lives out all year but will happily go in a stable. Has run in a mixed herd and has also lived on her own. I feel sure she will make someone a fabulous partner as she is a lovely natured girl. hh As genuine as they come, but full of personality. This friendly confident mare just loves human interaction. So easy to do. Everything i've thrown at her she's just taken all in her stride. She was broken in the early spring. She hacks out alone or in company, happily goes first or last or right in the middle. Doesn't get fizzy even in open grounds or whilst others are galloping off ahead. Soft mouthed and responsive to aids. Has nice active paces. Currently walking, trotting and cantering under saddle however green in her schooling, it's mainly just hacking work she's done. Has popped a log out hacking with no hesitation, showing great balance and carefulness, didn't even get silly. Passes heavy traffic out hacking (videos can be seen). Easy to handle, mount, bath, farrier, load/travel, worm etc. Used to other animals, regularly goes hacking with my GSD dog running alongside (even on the beach). Goes into river or sea when asked. Loose jumped 3ft. Has lived out or in. Can be left for weeks and you can just jump back onto her with no difference. Ridden bareback through the fields of other horses. Tacked up loose in field, as will come away from other horses (doesn't stress, not mare ish at all). This mare is so sweet and genuine she really hasn't put a foot out of place. Not suitable for complete novices/nervous riders only because of her age, being so young i would love to see her fulfil her potential and wouldn't like her to pick up bad habits etc. Only for sale as too small for myself. Paddy is 5years old he is never nasty he is so loving and loves a fuss. He has no vices (he does not need or like whips) just a gentle squeeze or voice commands work fine. Sad sale of our lovely pony Roo. She is a 13hh 13 yrs British Riding Pony. We have owned Roo for 4 years but she is now sadly outgrown. She was bought for my 8 year old son as his 1st pony and has taught him to ride taking him from walk/trot to jumping a course of 65cm and single fence of 95cm. Roo is a forward going pony and needs a capable confident rider. She has been a member of Barlow Hunt Pony Club for 4 years(references available) attending numerous rallies,mini camp and the last 2 years senior camp at Somerford Park plus other stay away camps and has been to Field Farm twice, she stays away from home with no fuss either in a stable or paddock. She has also attended many local riding club shows. Roo loads and travels great. Is good with farrier (shod all round), dentist, vet and physio but does need sedating for clipping. She is happy to be in the field by herself but likes company when stabled. She is great to handle and my son does everything independently with her. Roo is an amazing hack and will go for hours through fields and woods over bridges, ditches etc she is also rock solid with all traffic. I know when my sons goes out hacking with the other livery’s on our yard she will bring him back safe and with a big smile on his face. She is also great to lunge and long line.
