She is NOT a novice ride but will be calm with an experienced person who understands thoroughbreds. I have come to the hard decision to sell my best friend. Harley is 11 year old, 16.1hh chestnut thoroughbred gelding. We have owned him for the past 5 years where he was brought as a project. He is a fast learner and has been to a couple of local shows both show jumping and cross country. However due to myself going back into education he has only been hacked for the past year. He hacks both in company and on his own. Prefers to take the lead when in company. Harley is good with the farrier, dentist, no stable vices. Snaffle mouth. Gets on with both mares and geldings. Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and feet. Lives in or out and is a good doer considering he is a thoroughbred. Harley has lovely sable manners and is very affectionate, would stand for hours being cuddled, groomed and pampered. He equally can be turned out for days and would still love you. Harley is a dream to own, easy to look after and will fit around your lifestyle. Harley does not have a nasty bone in his body he is very forgiving. Harley is not a novice ride, he needs to be sold to an experienced rider who has preferably dealt with thoroughbreds before. He is not a horse you can bully and needs a quiet confident rider. Harley is visually confident but is sensitive to sound. For example when hacking if he sees a tractor, bus etc he is fine. However is he hears something behind him and cannot see it he tends to panic. By panic he does not rear or buck but shoot forward. Sad sale of our beloved TB. He stands at 16.3 hands and will be 11 years young this summer. Even though he has been with us from last year may, he has won a massive place in all our hearts. From children (as young as seven) to new riders he has carried all with pride and ease. Hacks out alone or in company, will go in front or follow with out issue. STUNNING THOROUGHBRED / IRISH SPORTS HORSE FOR SALE

Sam is a 14 year old Thoroughbred/ Irish Draught who is registered as 15.3 but is easily 16hh. Sam is being sold through no fault of is own but due to my lack of time due to college. Sam is rode in a snaffle bit at all times and genuinely enjoys schooling work, having 3 beautiful paces and always aiming to please. Sam has competed in local shows and is and always comes out in the ribbons as he is a real mover with confidence and power. Sam loves to jump and has jumped a meter with me but has the potential for so much higher. At times while jumping sam can get forward and rarely adds in a tiny buck however this is only due to excitement as it is his favourite activity but comes back easily to a firm hand. Carrying a whip is enough for sam as he genuinely aims to please and responds so much more to a gentle but firm hand when needed-he hates getting wrong! He is very forgiving when riding and loves to be praised. Sam loves to hack out along woodland tracks but may need some encouragement occasionally while going through water which is his one hate. Sam is not a novice ride as in new places at first he can be quite nervy and need a a confident rider to push him forward and has his quirks now and again but the good far far outweighs the bad always. He is really rewarding and trusting, once there is a bond he becomes much bolder and always always aims to please,listening to both leg and voice commands and always trying his best. Sam enjoys living out in the summer and comes in during the winter months. He is easy to catch, shoe, groom, tack up etc- his manners are excellent apart from the odd head rub out off affection. This is always really really reluctant sale however I feel sam could really improve and go far with someone else and don't want such a special boy to go to waste.
