I have come to the hard decision to sell my best friend. Harley is 11 year old, 16.1hh chestnut thoroughbred gelding. We have owned him for the past 5 years where he was brought as a project. He is a fast learner and has been to a couple of local shows both show jumping and cross country. However due to myself going back into education he has only been hacked for the past year. He hacks both in company and on his own. Prefers to take the lead when in company. Harley is good with the farrier, dentist, no stable vices. Snaffle mouth. Gets on with both mares and geldings. Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth and feet. Lives in or out and is a good doer considering he is a thoroughbred. Harley has lovely sable manners and is very affectionate, would stand for hours being cuddled, groomed and pampered. He equally can be turned out for days and would still love you. Harley is a dream to own, easy to look after and will fit around your lifestyle. Harley does not have a nasty bone in his body he is very forgiving. Harley is not a novice ride, he needs to be sold to an experienced rider who has preferably dealt with thoroughbreds before. He is not a horse you can bully and needs a quiet confident rider. Harley is visually confident but is sensitive to sound. For example when hacking if he sees a tractor, bus etc he is fine. However is he hears something behind him and cannot see it he tends to panic. By panic he does not rear or buck but shoot forward. This is rare but need him to go to the right home to get the best out of him. 5* home is a must for this much loved boy. Harley will be sold from the field due to me being at university for the past 4 months and not having the time he deserves. No timewasters please this is a heart breaking sale as it is. Due to work commitments and no time I'm looking to sell my Argentinian thoroughbred mare. This is a very reluctant sad sale but it's in barbies best interests. Barbie is 6 years old she's very sensible and quite laid back, she's had quite an easy life with myself as I don't ask a lot of her I only ever hack her out or occasionally I'll pop her over a few jumps in the school, barbie loves to be in work and shows her real potential when doing so and in the right hands I no she would excel in all areas. She's hacks out alone and in company she's never silly she's never bucked or reared or bolted and she will happily walk through open fields she is very soft mouthed so is never strong,I can leave her for months without being rode and she's never silly, barbie does jump but she's not the most confident but I no with work she would be great, I've taken her cross country and she loved it. She lives either in or out, she's good with farrier and to box but can be head strong with having her teeth done.
