WW1 Officers Binoculars With Leather Case & Strap. The makers name of John & Bennett Green is stamped on the top of the case and dated . Stamped on the front is the crows foot war office mark. The binoculars are in lovely working condition, dark wood & brass with wear from use. There is also the following indented into the top of the case is what looks like Y.A. 788, maybe the officers initials/number ?. Although we may never know who the officer was, or what happened to him, the sights he must have seen through these, his binoculars & case remain over 100 years on.
